D Knob is a rapper / Hip-Hop artist from Kiwalani suburb of Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

D Knob has been in the Tanzanian Hip Hop scene since the year 2000. Through his several hit singles like "Usiniache", "Elimu Mitaani.com", "Ingewezekana" etc. he is known as one of the best rap artists in Dar Es Salaam. You could say D Knob is a true Hip-Hop MC sticking into his distinguishing rap style, while now a days many rappers in Tanzania have changed their style into R&B type of singing in a hope for greater commercial success.

His latest singles are "Kitu Gani Umemaindi?" and "Dear Mtoto".

"Kitu Gani Umemaindi?" (How Do You Like Me?) is an urban Hip-Hop love tune, and "Dear Mtoto" (Dear Child) is like an open letter to his unborn baby covering general issues of urban life in Dar Es Salaam.
